"Drink Your Water" - Them
Walk with me, talk with me, on this journey to FLAT PACK.
I'm sure we all know the benefits of water, but not all of us, including myself, drink enough water. I've been feeling nauseous a lot lately and I've already self-diagnosed and determined it's because of poor diet. I am the UNHEALTHIEST person alive.
(Cue the dramatics.)
I love McDonald's. I love soda. I love fruit roll ups. I love hot chips. I love French fries. I AM 26! I know it's time for me to grow up. But, I wanna be a Toys R Us kid forevaaaa (just kidding). Anyway, I could have easily removed all the soda in my house and replaced it with water, but that's just too much like right. So, of course, me being me, I came across various infused water recipes and decided to give a few a try.
Let's get to it, shall we?
Strawberry + Basil

SN: I conducted A LOT of research for this post and wanted to find a cute way to share some of the information I found, so I hope you enjoy my "Learn Something New" segment under each post.

It's cute & it tastes good. No, seriously, for those of us who struggle to drink the proper amount of water, infused water encourages us to drink more water throughout the day, so why not make it fun?
Live a little.

Now it's your turn to give it a try, but before we get into the recipes, let's discuss the mistakes I made during this process so you don't have to.
Refrigerate the infused water for at least 12 hours for strong flavor, if not it'll look cute but taste bland.
Some fruits last longer in water, Strawberries are NOT one of them.
Make sure your fruit is FRESH. Canned fruit is not good. (Don't ask me how I know.)
